If so, book with your GP at Matamata Medical Centre!  Our GP’s can evaluate all kinds of skin problems and make recommendations regarding management.  Biopsies and excisions can be performed on site, along with follow-up dressing changes and suture removals.  Due to strong ultraviolet rays and the active Kiwi lifestyle, skin cancers are common in New Zealand, but with vigilance and checking your skin regularly most skin problems can be dealt with locally at MMC.
