Zostavax Vaccinations (Shingles)

Zostavax is a live vaccine that is indicated to help prevent shingles, a virus derived from the same family that causes chickenpox. When caught, Shingles causes a painful rash that blisters.

From the 1st April 2018, Zostavax is available and is funded for persons aged 65 to 80 years. Those outside of this age range and aged 50+ can purchase the vaccine. For any further questions please call to speak to one of our nurses today.
